Unit One -- Weather
In this unit, students will study weather phenomenon and patterns, and they will compose their own weather report.

First graders will begin their coding study with Code.org's Course One.
Unit Three -- Ecology and Interdependence
Students will study ecology and interdependence
through experimentation, reading, and a cooperative project to create a preservation
park. This unit is adapted from Dig It!

Unit Four -- Fairy Tales and Economics
Students will study fairy tales and the impact economics has on fairy tale themes. Students will write a fairy tale which features an economics theme.
